This idea has been brewing in my mind for quite some time and I am so grateful and happy that Skinsmart has brought it to life....
What is this collab all about?
Each season will present a new and exciting collection. Each collection is indicated for a specific concern, in need of correction or assistance. Based on customer feedback and queries, we have selected products that work best for various skin types and concerns.
The seasonal boxes are all about bringing you a lovely, affordable and effective selection of skincare.
When running through the brief with Skinsmart I knew that I had to stay true to what you ask for... ‘’Will it be cost effective?" and so on... Absolutely! I believe you can achieve beautiful skin with incredible products, without breaking the bank and that is what we have done with these boxes. So, without further ado, let’s dive into our first two Seasonal Corrective-Collection boxes!
B2B Collection (Back to Basics) R995
The dream La Roche-Posay skincare box! As you know I am a huge fan of this brand as they deliver incredible results at a brilliant price point. In this box you will find a full routine perfect for anyone with no particular concerns or if you are wanting to start a skincare regime but not sure how. This collection is tolerated by all skin types.
La Roche Posay Foaming Water Cleanser:
After receiving my box 4 weeks ago I have had the pleasure of using this cleanser morning and evening. I have absolutely fallen in love! This gentle foaming formulation cleanses the skin beautifully, removing any impurities like pollution and dirt off the skin while maintaining the overall integrity & p.H of the skin. It contains their famous key ingredient La Roche Posay thermal spring water which reduces sensitivity. The other ingredient I love is Selenium. Selenium is known to protect the cellular metabolism of the skin, leaving it incredibly healthy. What is not to like about this cleanser?
La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water Mist :
La Roche Posay's Thermal mist is always a beautiful item to have in your skincare routine. This spring water has been known to be a great anti-irritant & anti-oxidant for the skin. It contains selenium, as mentioned above, and has great benefits for the integrity of the skin. The mineral salts and trace elements found in the French spring water cools and refreshes the skin and reduces any signs of inflammation. I like to mist this on my skin throughout the day ensuring my hydration levels are up as well as misting it prior to any serum or moisturiser application to ensure further product penetration.
La Roche Posay Toleraine Ultra:
This has the most luxurious feeling on the skin... It is a rich and hydrating formula that can be used morning and evening. This moisturiser is all about providing long-lasting daily moisturisation and soothing benefits. It is formulated with Neurosensine, an active ingredient that targets cutaneous irritation mechanisms. If you suffer from any irritation such as burning or itching, this assists with long-term relief. This minimalist formula has 0% preservatives, parabens, fragrance, alcohol, colourants or lanolin. I have found this to be an incredibly comforting moisturiser for my skin. It leaves it feeling silky & plump with no oil film left behind.
La Roche Posay Invisible Fluid SPF50 :
Oh boy! Cue the confetti because I absolutely love the Anthelios range, especially this SPF! This formula is for all skin types and is perfect for sensitive skins too. Due to a patented filtering system, Mexoplex®, together with their Thermal Spring Water, which is both soothing and an antioxidant, it provides optimal protection that is stricter than European standards for sun care. I don't go a day without applying my sunscreen and using this one makes it incredibly easy not to forget... It's light, not oily & is so easy to apply without pulling or making streaks. It doesn't leave a white cast & looks beautiful under makeup.

Oh la la! This box is pretty spectacular in terms of brands but also that it is ideal for someone that is pushed for time and likes to get out the door quick, without having the fuss of endless steps in their skincare or make-up routine... This is the perfect trio for that daily makeup glow or quick touch up before an event.
What does it include?
The Obagi Cleansing & Makeup Remover Wipes:
(Now, you probably wondering, ‘’what on earth is Amanda thinking, wipes?’’ haha) well, these are nowhere near your general store-bought wet wipes that you find in a supermarket or pharmacy... There isn’t anything wrong with a cleansing wipe (provided they contain the correct ingredients) as they are the perfect on-the-go solution to quickly cleanse and refresh the skin. For instance, a lot of my skin consult clients don't want a complicated morning routine and so this is the perfect solution to "washing" your face in the morning. They are incredibly soft, premoistened, textured wipes that remove excess oil, makeup, dirt and other impurities. I have loved using them in the morning, especially on the days where I couldn't be bothered cleansing. I can see myself using these more in the up-and-coming cooler months. A few ingredients that I like in these: Aloe leaf extract, soothes & hydrates the skin, Sodium PCA which is a great humectant that helps retains moisture & protects the acid mantle i.e pH. of the skin.
Isdinceutics Sand & Beige Skin Drops Foundation:
The most flawless finish to any skincare routine! This ultra-light liquid makeup provides a 12-hour adaptable coverage with a matte finish, no super shiny but also no chalky finish. The idea behind ISDIN's Skin drops was to help cover imperfections like discolouration, fine red veins, bruising or scaring. I have loved the finish on my skin & it spreads so easily & seamlessly. Key Ingredients here are Jojoba esters, which are great for mimicking the natural moisturisation properties in the skin and Silica, which provides a natural nude finish to the skin. This is a highly versatile product as it can be added to your moisturiser to become tinted, a drop could be added to your spf or it can be used as it for full coverage look, so many options... #loveit
Isdin UV Mineral Brush SPF50 :
Last but not least... SPF! I always find the replication of SPF the worst & often I think a lot of us then don't bother reapplying, especially when we are wearing makeup. But now that ISDIN has created a SPF mineral brush-on powder, it makes things so easy, especially on-the-go! It offers broad-spectrum UV protection, is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin and contains a universal tint. The product contains 100% mineral/inorganic UVA/UVB filters, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide and Iron Oxide, which blocks against artificial blue light. It doesn't leave you looking cakey nor dry. Pro Tip: Just ensure you slant the product down to ensure the powder is released effectively, offering you full coverage.

This gentle starter skincare routine was curated for all skin types incorporating the essential steps for healthy skin. Although labelled ‘’Back to Basics’’, these products are far from basic. Some of my highlighted favourites and most recommended items are the Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF 50, the La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Cream, the Isdin on-the-go UV Mineral Brush SPF 50 and the Obagi Cleansing Wipes. A wonderful skincare solution for beginners, minimalists and skin-health enthusiasts.
