If you are struggling with dull, uneven skin tone in need of active ingredients for clarity, treatment and exfoliation, then the ACTV-C Collection is for you. Indicated for your oilier, breakout prone and pigmented skin types. Not suitable for sensitive or dry skin types.

La Roche Posay Pigmentclar Cleanser
This is a gentle, brightening, non-particle exfoliating cleanser for dull skin and uneven skin tone. It leaves the skin deeply cleansed and skin clarity is definitely enhanced. Within two weeks of using this cleanser I noticed a big difference in recovery period of breakouts and the pigmentation they usually leave behind i.e post inflammatory/hyperpigmentation. This cleanser is definitely not suitable for those with dry or tight skin.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Ultra Micellar Water
Another favourite which I've spoken about before on Amanda From Africa. The Micellar water is a gentle soap-free purifying cleanser that eliminates impurities and excess sebum in oily, sensitive skin leaving it clean and feeling fresh. This is great to wipe across the face after cleansing in the evening to ensure all your makeup is removed. Alternatively use this as your morning "cleanse" by wiping it gently across the face with a cotton pad. Ingredients like Zinc & Glycacil are known to purify the skin & promote the elimination of excess sebum.
La Roche Posay Pigmentclar Serum
This targeted corrective treatment is perfect for combating mild pigmentary disorders such as dark spots and an uneven complexion. It is a silky light textured serum that can be incorporated in your evening routine. Containing ingredients like PhE-Resorcinol which is known to reduce melanin synthesis by inhibiting tyrosinase. Lito-Hydroxy Acid or (LHA), a derivative of Salicylic Acid is an acne-fighting ingredient, lifting dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. Resulting in brighter and a more even complexion. I have thoroughly enjoyed this serum!
La Roch Posay Effaclar duo+ SPF 30
If you had to ask me what is one of my cult favourites, id easily respond with this one! This anti-blemish cream is specifically formulated to target marks left by congested, blemish-prone skin. It has been clinically proven to reduce the appearance of blemishes, unclog pores and refine skin texture. The added benefit of an SPF also assists in reducing dark marks caused by acne and sun exposure. But when I say this product works... It works!

La Roche Posay Effaclar H Moisturizer
Yes, yes & yes! The Effacalr H Moisturiser is making it's second come back in our collections. We included this lovely moisturiser in our SOSO collection (Spot on, Spot off). It is a non-greasy intensely moisturising formulation for those with an oily skin weakened by over-drying skincare products or medications. It soothes and restores the hydrolipidic film, helping to restore comfort and suppleness to the skin. I mean who doesn't want a moisturiser that combats breakouts, hydrates & looks after your barrier. #winning We incorporated this moisturiser and it can be used as your evening one. Therefore this skincare collections makeups up an AM & PM routine.

Obagi Acne Cleansing Wipes(2% Salicylic Acid)
The Obagi Acne Cleansing Wipes are the perfect one-stop solution to quickly cleanse and refresh a congested complexion. These soft, pre-moistened and textured wipes remove excess oil, make-up and impurities from the skin. They include Salicylic Acid, an exfoliant with a keratolytic action which increases cell turnover and helps to reduce future breakouts. Witch Hazel purifies and helps to remove excess oil and impurities and minimizes the appearance of pores. Aloe Barbadensis leaf extract helps to moisturize and soothe the skin and reduce inflammation. I tend to use these before I hit the gym! I can remove my makeup in the car, pop a lightweight moisturiser on and I'm good to go.
Obagi Pore Therapy - The MIRACLE WORKER (2% Salicylic Acid)
Cue Angels singing... It isn't named the Miracle worker" for nothing. I refer it as my mini chemical peel at home. This product is a highly effective toner and a spot treatment that unclogs pores, reduces blackheads, and removes dead skin cells from the surface of oily, acne-prone skins. It helps reduce the appearance of your pores too.The 2% Salicylic Acid, a Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) that helps to remove acne-causing bacteria leaving the skin feeling refreshed. You can definitely feel the this active ingredient working its magic. A slight tingle & refreshing feeling is felt, due to the Menthol added which helps to calm irritated, blemish-prone skins.
